The IGA seeks to advance the knowledge of groundwater resources in Illinois and functions exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Any person interested in the groundwater resources of Illinois can join the IGA. Our membership includes consulting engineers, geologists and other professionals; faculty and students from colleges and universities; the public; people from federal, state, county, and municipal agencies and organizations; and people from drilling companies and other industries with an interest in groundwater.
Regular activities of the Association include spring and fall meetings, which consist of speakers, a luncheon, and discussions of current groundwater issues and research. New presentation ideas for the meetings are always welcome. The Association also sponsors grants for students conducting groundwater research at an Illinois college or university and has given over $14,000 in direct financial support to date.
IGA is interested in your thoughts about IGA and what you expect from IGA.
The management board has been working to make IGA as beneficial as possible for the members. As such, a survey has been designed to collect member feedback. Please follow the link to take the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7KS38P8
